He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Maddox Parr and Claude W. Hobbs; his stepfather Monroe Parr; and his brother Jimmy Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Crystal Ayers (Gabe) of Greenville, SC, Brandy Flood (Josh) of Jefferson, GA, Christopher Harrell (Lori Juarez) of Morrison, CO and Lindi Wicker (Jamie Suggs) of Dublin, GA; his grandchildren, Sylvia Ayers, Finley Flood, Ahdi-Laine Humphries and Hendrix Humphries; his aunt Betty McElheney; and his stepmother Georgia Hobbs Wynne.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Masonic Children's Home in Macon or the Shiner's Hospital in Atlanta.
