He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Norris and Ossie B. Norris; his son Frederick Allen; and his siblings, Gwen Edwards, Lester Marshall Sr., Robert Wright, Daniel Wright, Lovester Marshall, Willie Lewis and Melvin Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Norris; his children, James "Peggy" Norris of Dublin, Georgia, Retta Norris of Dublin, Georgia, Prophetess Gretta Smith of Dublin, Georgia, Brittany "Rawn" McPhee of Dublin, Georgia and Teresa "Dewey" Ayers Atlanta; his sisters, Beatrice Plummer, Lorraine Reynolds, Mamie Lou White, Pearl Mayfield, Rosa Pullens, Carrie "Ernest" Bush, Ruth Jordan and Marilyn Allen; and his uncle L. W. Norris. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church (2176 New Buckeye Rd, East Dublin, GA 31027).
