He was predeceased by: his parents, Maudie Lue Hurst Gregory and Elmo Gregory; his siblings, James Elmer, Willie Cleveland, Johnny Edward, Herbert Eugene and Samuel Hurst Gregory; and his son Broderick Butler.
He is survived by: his brothers, Walter Lee "Pete" Gregory (Tressie) and Thomas Hayward Gregory (Calvary); his sisters-in-law, Willene Gregory and Ethel Brown; his son Kevin Butler; his grandson Notorious Smith; his daughter Kenyanna McClendon (Ken-Ken); his granddaughter Khia Johnson; his great grandchild Maelani Averhart; his grandsons, Kelvion and Kelvon King; and his niece Shelia M. Gregory. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel (617 E Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021).
