With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Brown in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Horne and Mollie Sue Horne; her spouse Russell Dillon Brown, Sr.; and her siblings, Troy Horne, Jr., Lemmie Horne, Bobby Horne, Bernard Horne and Wauweeze Dennis.
She is survived by: her sons, Rusty Brown (Melveta) and Ron Brown (Janet); her grandchildren, Sandy Wood (Nathan) and Danny Brown (Candace); her great grandchildren, Rylee, Noah, Cady Rae, Nash and Ryker; and her siblings, Mary Sue Guinn (Quinton), Randal Horne (Marylyn) and Ralph Horne (Jean). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Church of God.
