We bid farewell to Jobeth Barrett Dukes (Dublin, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 16, 2025 at the age of 74. Jobeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Barrett and Freddie Barrett; and her niece Lindsay Ruth Fountain Weaver. She is survived by: her husband Raymond T. Dukes, Jr.; her sons, Ron Williams (Michelle) of Destin, FL and Chad Williams (Heather) of Hattiesburg, MS.; her grandchildren, Katie Williams Thaggard (Brand) and Matthew Williams; and her sisters, Paulette Hall (Fred) and Susie Fountain. She is also survived by nine nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens (2986 US-80, Dublin, GA 31021). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the same location.
