He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Conaway and Jessie Mae Tobler Conaway; and his son Donte Conaway. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Conaway; his children, Courtney Stanley, Shane Stanley, Charmane Conaway and Michael Powell; his siblings, Mazell Spencer (Wallace), Maxine Hall (Marvin), James Conaway (Eva), Johnnie Mae Conaway, Serita Conaway, Teresa Riggins and Clara Conaway; and his siblings-in-law, Polly Mackey, Ameda Walls and Billy Bess (Lula). He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
