He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carr and Lillian Carr; his brothers, Anthony Carr and Richard Carr; and his son Vadarian Carr.
He is survived by: his close friend Teresa Taylor; his children, Jonathan Carr (Dominique) of Dublin, Quivonda Boone (Lynell) of Perry, Jahmel Carr of Dublin, Jkandice Carr of Dublin, Davontae Blackshear of Augusta, Nicholas Devoe of Saint Petersburg, Laquaski Smith of Dublin and Alaina Carr of Atlanta; and his brothers, Gene Carr (Susan) of Virginia, Michael Carr (Ricketa), George Carr and Oscar Carr (Bonnie). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
