He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alma Loyd and Dorothy Clyde Jackson; and his brother William Alan Loyd. He is survived by: his significant other Anna Dora Harden Loyd; his children, John Eric Loyd (Kara Andrews), Daymon Emory Loyd (Amie Bloodworth) and Marla Loyd Roche (Chip); his brother David Earl Loyd; his grandchildren, Dori Roche Clark (Josh), Drew Roche, Isabel Loyd Dean (Justin), Cecilia Loyd, Jackson Loyd, Braden Loyd, Charlotte Loyd and Juliann Loyd; his great grandchildren, Wil Parker Sterling, Chance Tucker Sterling and John Ross Clark; and his nephews, Brian Loyd and Jonathan Loyd.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stanley Funeral Home - Dublin (1320 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marie Baptist Church (315 Marie Church Rd, Dublin, GA 31021).
