It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Lee Vestal of Dublin, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Sydney Tally and Katie Lee Sims Tally; her husband Alan Luther Vestal; and her siblings, Robert Tally, Oren Tally, Burton Tally, Ed Tally, Spencer Tally, Annie Bell Webb, Minnie Lee Gibson and Mary Tally.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Vestal (Bettie) of Clemmons, NC, Donna Ross (Ronn) of Valdosta, George Vestal (Charlotte) of Vienna and Mike Vestal (Deborah) of Dublin; her grandchildren, Alan Lee Vestal (Christina), Melanie Vestal, Paul Vestal (Holly), Natalie Chesson (Dan), George Newbern (Sarah), John Newbern (Stacie), Katie Giles (John), Sara Massey (Brandon), Michael Vestal (Amber) and Matthew Vestal (Kristen); and her great grandchildren, Isabel Vestal, Sam Vestal, Joshua Vestal, Ian Vestal, Jasmine Hofmann, Kierra Newbern, Wyatt Newbern, Emory Newbern, Judy Kate Newbern, Caroline Giles, Phillip Giles, Ava Massey, Owen Vestal, Mary Katelyn Vestal, Caroline Vestal, Jack Vestal, Will Vestal and Luke Vestal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
