He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hulin, Reba Edge Darsey, Clarence and Alma Wynn McLendon. He is survived by: his wife Renee Walker McLendon; his sons, Preston Lee McLendon and Jackston Walker McLendon; his parents, Gerald McLendon (Margie Darsey McLendon) and Margie McLendon; his brother Stacy McLendon (Marilou); his parents-in-law, Rickey and Jackie Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Walker (Tommy Veal) and Adam Walker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
