He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; his brothers, Eugene, Wendell, Billy and Ray Garrett; his parents, Landrum Garrett and Louise Garrett; his siblings-in-law, Nathan Robertson, Edward Watson and Catherine Garrett; and his daughter-in-law Karen Garrett.
He is survived by: his daughter Steve Garrett of Dublin, GA; his siblings, Ann Garrett James (Donnie) of Roswell, GA and Charles Garrett (Maxine) of Dublin, GA; his sister-in-law Dianne Garrett Watson of Dublin, GA; and his nibling Gloria Garrett of Winter Haven, FL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
