He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mitchell and Mary Lee Robinson Mitchell; and his brothers, Ronnie Mitchell and Ezzard Howard Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Whipple and Kenyatta Edmonds (Kerey); his siblings, Mary Helen Harvey, Maevonia "Debbie" Mitchell, Estella Lowery (Wayne), Donnie Mitchell, Willie Mitchell and Richie Girtman; and his grandchildren, Gary Taylor, Emery Taylor, Shamiya Whipple and Anthony Whipple, Jr.. He is also survived by 17 nieces, 15 nephews, and a host of great- nieces and great-nephews, family and friends.
