He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Whirl (Smith) and Joe Solomon. He is survived by: his uncle James Smith (Naomi) of Macon, Georgia; and his aunts, Lois Mitchell of Marietta, Georgia, Shirley Smith of Marietta, Georgia, Iris Rozier of Dublin, Georgia, Wilful Jean Davis (late Clifford Smith) of Dublin, Georgia and Barbara Jean Howard. He is also survived by cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel (617 E Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021).
