He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mullis of Sparta; his children, Larry Bert Mullis of Riverdale, John Walter Mullis of Sparta and Pamela Becky Lively of Reidsville; his sisters, Miriam Riner of Dublin and Yvonne Luecke of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Jason Self and Tonya Parker. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
