We are sad to announce that, on April 12, 2026, at the age of 87, Lena M. Rhyne of Dublin, Georgia, born in East Dublin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Isiah (Coot) and Lula Spikes Lena Lewis; her husband Ulysses Rhyne, Jr. (Gus); her son Bruce Lorenzo Rhyne; her grandson Christopher Carr; her sisters, Evelyn Outler, Rita Mae Mclendon and Mildred Jones; and her brother-in-law Grady Mclendon.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Caldwell (Ronald) of Landover, Valerie Fuqua (Kenneth) of Dublin and Ulysses Rhyne Ill (Yolanda) of Augusta, Georgia.; her sister Annie Ruth Plummer of Dublin; and her brother-in-law Oscar Jones of Dublin, Georgia.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
