He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Joseph Koss, Jr. and Isabelle Koss; and his siblings, Adrian Koss, Armand Koss, William Koss, Lorraine Koss Gilmore and Jacquline Koss.

He is survived by: his children, Lena Prince (Sean), Lisa Main (Frank), Joseph Chabot, III (Melissa Wheeler) and Robert Chabot (Shelli Saindon); his daughter-in-law Mary Chabot; and his brothers, Roger Koss and David Koss. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
