Lester Wright Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Wright of Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wright and Alvinnie Brantley Wright; his siblings, George Wright, Arthur Wright, Mary Jane Coney, James Wright, Grady Johnson, Bennie Wright and Lee Arthur Wright Sr.; his sister-in-law Ada Wright; his son-in-law Curtis Stuckey; his nieces, Patricia Wright and Vickie Wright; and his grandchildren, Veronica Smith, Darren Taylor, Jr. and Juwan Edmond.

He is survived by: his nephews, Jeffrey Allen and Dewayne White; his wife Evie Jean Wright; his children, Curtis Smith (Brenda), Bobbie Jean Stuckey, Angela Evans (Kenneth), James Smith, Elizabeth Wright (Frank) and Darren Taylor; his aunt Flossie Scott (Ilinois) of Chicago; his siblings, Gladine White, Jo Myrick and Marsha Jones of Miami; and his sisters-in-law, Jacquelyn Wright, Debra Wright and Ethel Wright. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
