She was predeceased by: her significant other Rev. Lewis Brantley; her sons, John, Herbert and David; her daughter-in-law Gwen Brantley; and her grandchildren, Benny Brantley, Jr. and LaKisha Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Ernestine Lilley, Geri Sebastian, Benny Brantley, Sr. (Marie), Warren Brantley, Anthony Brantley (Shirley), Wyman Brantley (Tricia) and Carolyn Davis (Keith); her siblings, Johnnie W. Young (Carl, Sr.) of Philadelphia, PA and William Hicks of Manassas, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Trudie Brantley of East Dublin, GA, Ruth Hicks of Dorchester, MA, Annie R. Brantley of Morven, NC and Eddie Brantley (Lillian) of Miami, FL. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
