He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom W. Spivey and Nellie Wood Spivey; his sister Marjorie Spivey; and his father-in-law Luther Alfred Williams (Mattie Folcher). He is survived by: his wife Melanie Williams Spivey; his siblings, Linda Purdee, Sylvia Jones, Samuel Spivey, Romaree Douglas (Larry), Elizabeth Tanner (Clayton), Judy Savage, Tommie Jean Graham and Joseph Spivey; his brother-in-law Luther Kim Williams (Debra); and his pets, Koda and Duke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends.
