It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Madge Sheppard Brantley (Dublin, Georgia), who passed away on May 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Herbert Sheppard Sr. and Avis Lorene Keen Sheppard; her husband James Ervin Brantley; and her siblings, Anne Mae Sheppard Mason, Esther Sheppard Senn, Opal Sheppard Slappey, Nell Sheppard Daniels, Patsy Sheppard Mimbs Tenhoor, Johnnie Faye Sheppard Graham, Wesley Herbert Sheppard, Jr. and Rehab.

She is survived by: her children, James David Brantley (Brenda) of Swainsboro, Debra Jean "Jeanne" Brantley of Dublin and Donald Richard Brantley (Dana) of Dublin; her sisters, Wanza Sheppard Soles and Mary Sheppard Underwood of Dublin; and her grandchildren, Jamie Canady, Scott Anderson, Melissa Mullis, Clint Luecke, Nick Luecke, Eric Luecke, Josh Brantley, Amanda Register, Brandon Brantley and Michael Carroll. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
