He is survived by: his wife June D. Wright; his son Wesley Wright (Dionne); his grandchildren, Andricko Wright, Takeidria Wright, Sparkle Wright, Adrianna Roberson and Jade Wright; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Young, Taya Hill, Karsen Clover, Jr., Arian Hannah, Dallas Walker and Arias Hannah; his siblings, Maggie Drane, Lonnie Wright (Debra), Charles Wright and Larry Wright; his siblings-in-law, Irene Wright, Carlene Montford (Alvin), Dorothy Carn, Brenda Sims, Margaret Cainion and Jeffrey Sims (Vicki); his nephew Robert Plummer, Jr.; and his close friends, Willie Wilcher and Palmer Wells. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
