It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Othine Garner of Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Othine Garner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Emerson Clark and Jeanette Anderson Clark. She is survived by: her husband Broxton Javan Garner; her daughters, Alesa Garner McArthur and Denise Garner Jacob (Jay); her grandchildren, Virginia Jacob Cruse (Andy), Leila Christian Jacob and Marshall Clark McArthur; and her siblings, Elaine Harris of Savannah, Katherine Wells of Gray and O. E. Clark, Jr. of Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Gideons International and Auxiliary, of which Javan and Othine have been long-time members; so that Bibles can be placed in her memory.
