He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Hobbs, Sr. and Lavert Alligood Hobbs. He is survived by: his children, Paul Hobbs (Deanna) of Loganville and Amy Hobbs Carpenter of Dublin; his siblings, Neil Hobbs (Judy) of Chester, Mickey Hobbs of Newnan, Ondrea Greene (Prett Smith) of Dublin and Diane Ikner (Danny) of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Jordan May, Logan May, Jaden Carpenter, Ariel Carpenter, William Hobbs and Sarah Hobbs. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel (1320 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel (1320 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021).
