He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Vance Shiver and Willie Lou Scarbrough Shiver; his siblings, Billy Shiver, Vance Shiver and Edna Powell; and his great grandchild Paislee Claire.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Shiver of East Dublin; his children, Cami Shiver of East Dublin, Phillip Wesley Shiver, II of Milledgeville and Camden Lee Shiver of East Dublin; his stepsons, Josh Walker of Dublin and Jordie Crow of Atlanta; his friend Sandra Shiver; and his siblings, Glenda Edge, Rita Brown of Dublin and Glen Shiver of Dublin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
