He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Patterson Williams and Ethel Griffis Williams; his wife Ann B. Williams; and his siblings, Emily Horne, Jake Williams, Bobby Williams, Howard Williams, Edwin Williams, Lois Hardin, Landrum "Skip" Williams and Carrie Morse.

He is survived by : his children, Mary Ann Wisherd (Dwight Free) of Jasper, Kathy Sapp (Earl) of Dublin, Mark Williams of Dublin and Mandy Williams of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Eric Wisherd (Christy), Barbara Wisherd, Jennifer Mullis (Jason), Christopher Wisherd, Sam Sapp (Laurel) and Matthew Wisherd (Casey). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
