We announce the death of Ricko M. Coney (Dublin, Georgia), who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 53. Ricko will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carnell Coney and Mamie Vernell Coney; and his grandparents, Ben Mitchell, Clarine Mitchell, John Coney and Louise Coney.
He is survived by: his wife Terrina "Trina" Coney; his children, Greg Carswell of Dublin, Kiara Carswell of Dublin and Terry Carswell of Dublin; and his siblings, Marie Jones (Patrick), Summer Edwards (Quinton), Mario Coney of Dublin, Victor Coney of Dublin, Keith Coney of Dublin and Chris Plummer of Dublin. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel (617 E Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021).
