He is survived by: his mother Imogene Carter Holmes; his wife Janice Holmes; his daughters, Teresa Jones and Tamikay Gaskins; his brothers, Christopher Holmes (Alina) and James Grier (Cheryl); his mother-in-law Wadell Timmons; his grandchildren, Alexander O'Neal, Elijah Martin, Kayla O'Neal and Amiyah Martin; his sister-in-law Inez Kinsey; his nieces and nephews, Justin Kinsey, Jamie Kinsey, James Grier, Jr., Christopher Holmes, Jr., Jasmine Kinsey, Tiffany Grier, Aniya Holmes and Chiore Holmes; and his close friend Ronald Jones. He is also survived by cousins, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Grove Baptist Church (2418 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021).
