He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dewey King and Lois Mattie York King; his sister Ernestine "Tina" Rawlins (Charles R.); and his wife Barbara Ann King. He is survived by: his children, Robert Bruce King, Jr. (Nancy) of St. Augustine, FL, David Paul King (Jana) of Lynchburg, VA, Babs Rheney of Dublin and Beth Hooks (Michael) of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Paul King (Jennifer Black), Rob King, III (Maria Malalang), Chris King, Ben King, Britten King, Matt Rheney, Phillip Rheney, Cole Moore (Kimberly), Sarah Jane Holmes (Riley) and Holly Elizabeth Kempe (Kirk). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in memory of Mr. King to Georgia Hospice Care at 1111 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021.
