He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Stanley and Kathleen Stanley; his siblings, Etherene Stanley Curry, Lillian Stanley Moore, Leo Stanley, Evocouis Stanley and Ray Cecil Stanley; his former wife Lucy Stanley; and his son Thomas Billue.
He is survived by: his former wife Lucy Blue; his wife Virginia Bell; his daughter Betty Lanier; his grandchildren, Zsa Zsa (Richard), Aubrey (Cecil), Inga Tamarian Lanier and Edward Lanier, Jr. (Monica); and his stepchildren, Rona Bargie, Timothy Bell, Phyllis Bell, Alan Bell and Teria Howard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
