She was predeceased by: her parents, Zollie "Junior" Mitchell and Willie Mae Parks; her grandmother Lillie Mae Parks; her brother Herschel Mitchell; and her aunts, Ethel Lee Parks, Nina Mae Parks, Eva Mae Parks and Lizzie Jean Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Tiuana Parks, Yokeasha Hill, Natasha Ashley (Kelsey) of Rentz, Kimberly Crowder (Darryl) and Terry Hill, Jr. (Natoya) of Dublin; her aunt Sarah Parks; her siblings, Catha Edmond of East Dublin, Vanessa Parks (Pamela Kirtz), Crystal Drake (Scottie) of Chester, Pretoria Maxwell (Tiffany Jackson), James Parks (Gloria), Elester Parks and Reginald Parks of East Dublin; her friend Glenda Wiggins; and her goddaughters, Helen Burnette and Ellen Waller. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
