He is survived by: his wife Essie Walker Coney; his children, Felicia Ashley (Wesley), Yolonder Coney-Carter (Steven) and Lance Coney; his grandchildren, Dalvin Ashley, Jalen Carter, Brianna Coney and Lauren Coney; and his niece Sarah Stanley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
