He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Connelly and Sallie McBryant Connelly; his wife Patricia Jean Pope Connelly; and his nephew Michael Fowler. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Jean Connelly Townsend (Darrin) of Dublin, Georgia; his stepchildren, Quinton Lamar Powell and Angela Powell; his grandchildren, Cody Henry, Andy Dukes and Shyann Dukes; his great grandchildren, Andrew Lee Dukes, Jr., Averie Shyann Knight and Raelynn Elizabeth Henry; and his sister Carolyn E. Fowler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
