Copenny; her children, Rhonda Copenny Mitchell, Dr. Patti Copenny Reed (Larry), Bernard Copenny (Doris) and Peggy Copenny Russell (Joseph); and her grandchildren, Raquel, Tanika, Torian (Natasha), Patrick (Angela), Joi (Raphael), Dav'El (Lindsey) and Alexander. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, students, colleagues, and friends.
