He is survived by: his wife Maxine Carter Garnto of East Dublin; his daughters, Wendy Owens (Daniel) of Statesboro and Erin Thompson (Laura) of Warner Robins; his stepchildren, Alicia Norris (Jeff) of East Dublin, Jamie Powers (Joe) of Dublin and Will Newsome (Tosha) of Wrightsville; his brother Sterling Garnto of O'Fallon, IL; his siblings-in-law, Sammy Young (April) of Wrightsville and Patricia Williams (Bobby) of Dublin; his grandchildren, Emmalee Jones (Glen), Ivy Thompson, Jackson Thompson, Landon Powers, Asher Powers, Cory Adams and Cale Adams; his great grandchild Gracie Ann Jones; and his friends, Bob, Elaine Gay, Cheryl, Jesse Braswell, Keith and Debra Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
