It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lloyd Coward Sr. (Dublin, Georgia), who passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jan Currie Coward; his former wife Gladys Haecke; his son William Lloyd Coward, Jr.; his parents, Walter Monroe Coward and Vella York Coward; his siblings, Ruth Coward Pugh, Myrtle Coward Stewart, Clarence Coward, Worth Coward and Alan Coward; his stepchildren, Steven Nobles and Susan Scarbrough; and his grandchildren, Haley Nobles and Noah Nobles.
From 1981 to 1996, Mr. Coward donated 21, 000+ volunteer hours helping veterans and their families, and in 1990 was nominated for and selected as Citizen of the Year for his outstanding service to veterans.
