It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Bill Mitchell of Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mitchell and Carrie Spivey Mitchell; his wife Betty Coney Mitchell; his son Otis Wright; his siblings, Viola Mitchell Coney and Joseph Bill Mitchell; his grandsons, Gerald Wells, Towaski Thomas and Tavaris Thomas; his stepson Tony Jerome Stanley; his stepgrandchildren, Reante "Ody" Stanley and Za'toria Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Coney (Mary), Marvin Coney, Nathaniel Coney and Ida Pearl Gillis.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Thomas (Charles) of Dublin and Elvis Cleveland of Dublin; his sisters, Carrie Wiggins, Cora Sims, Hattie Thompkins of Dublin, Bethenia Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; his stepchildren, Sarah Stanley of East Dublin, Jacqueline Stanley of Dublin and William Stanley (Brenda) of Dublin; his nephew Earl Mitchell (Debra) of Dublin; his niece Mary Thompkins of Dublin; and his stepgranddaughters, Rhonda Wells and Sherrett Stanley of Dublin. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
