He was predeceased by : his parents, Mitchell Ware and Mary Lou Barnette Ware of Dudley, GA.; and his siblings, David Ware (Virginia), Joe Ware (Helen), Lawson Ware (Martha), Floyd Ware (Peggy), Tom Ware (Helen), Finn Ware (Blanche), Gladstone Ware and Christine Passmore (Ovid).

He is survived by : his wife Colleen Ware; his children, Gladstone Ware of Baxley, GA and Gail Smith (Shayne) of Baxley, GA.; his grandsons, Matthew Wilkes (Brittany) of Roberta, GA, Blake Wilkes (Amy) of Seal Beach and Logan Evans (Michaela) of Dublin, GA.; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Gabby, Garrison, Emma, Silas, Paul and Tucker Wilkes; and his sister-in-law Peggy Ware.
