We announce the death of Casandra Elizabeth Evans (Duluth, Georgia), who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 88. Casandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton Hall and Sarah Elizabeth Goodman Hall; and her son James Kevin Yancey. She is survived by: her husband Thomas H. Evans II; her daughter Susan Elizabeth Yancey Weltlich (Mark Weltlich); her stepson Thomas H. Evans III (Sarah Evans); her brothers, David Hall (Martha Hall) and Charles Hall; and her grandchildren, William Davis Yancey, Noah Robert Weltlich, Harrison Hall Weltlich, Andrew Thomas Weltlich, Olivia Lee Evans and Alexis Marie Evans. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Children's Ministry at Johns Creek United Methodist Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or another charity supporting dementia research and care.
