He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wood and Wilhelmina Wood; and his nephew Gregory Plut Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Voit Wood (Daytona); his brothers, Gary Wood and Dale Wood (Eileen); his niece April; his nephew Carl (Mark Wood); his brother-in-law David Voit (Elaine); his nephews, Jason Voit, Michael Voit (Jessica) and Kevin Voit (Sarah); his sister-in-law Donna Voit Bauer (Ronald); his nieces, Valerie Riddle (Gordon) and Emily Fitzpatrick (Michael); his sister-in-law Linda Voit Sasinoski (Robert); his niece Melinda Dougherty (Patrick); his sister-in-law Laura Voit Plut (Gregory Plut); and his niece Christine Plut.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Blood Cancer United, formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
