He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wood and Wilhelmina Wood; and his nephew Gregory Plut Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Voit Wood (Daytona); his brothers, Gary Wood and Dale Wood (Eileen); his siblings' children, April and Carl (Mark Wood); his brother-in-law David Voit (Elaine); his nephews, Jason Voit, Michael Voit (Jessica) and Kevin Voit (Sarah); his sister-in-law Donna Voit Bauer (Ronald); his nieces, Valerie Riddle (Gordon) and Emily Fitzpatrick (Michael); his sister-in-law Linda Voit Sasinoski (Robert); his niece Melinda Dougherty (Patrick); his sister-in-law Laura Voit Plut (Gregory Plut); and his niece Christine Plut.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berkeley Hills Country Club (2300 Pond Rd, Duluth, GA 30096).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Blood Cancer United, formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
