He is survived by : his wife Louise Baston Waites; his children, Gene Waites (Kathy), Carol Sly (Tom) and Sam Waites (Tracy); his grandchildren, Meghan Meyer (Andrew), Katie Lee (Michael), Nicole Waites and Sam Sly; and his great grandchild Henry Lee.
