She is survived by: her husband Caesar Perez; her siblings, Carla Elbert (Tom) of Minneapolis, MN and Anthony Haag of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her stepsister Debbie Johnston of The Villages, FL.; her siblings' children, Nicole Roers and Anthony Elbert; and her friends, Aakash, Rahda, Nitin Patel, Cindy Tola, Heidi, Holly and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
