He is survived by: his mother Diana Hatten Groover (Robert); his wife Susan; his children, Aubrey, Malachi (Dena), Jacob (Yang), Solomon Ethan and Ellie (Josh); his grandchildren, Charlie and Violet; and his siblings, Virginia Groover, Alice Hickox (Alec) and Wade (Shannon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
