She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Tuerk and Marie Tuerk; and her brother John "Jack" Tuerk. She is survived by: her brothers, Conrad "Connie" Tuerk Jr. and Robert "Bob" Tuerk of River Forest, Illinois.; her husband William J. "Bill" Markham; her sons, Bill Jr., Terry (Elizabeth), Rob (Nancy), Tim (Resa) and Chris (Wendy); her grandchildren, William, Michael, John (Casey), Madoline Koonce (Jeff), Laura Salinas (Oscar), Patrick (Elizabeth), Kaley Jabs (Connor), Chandler, Matt (Rachel), Mallory, Elizabeth and Major William; her great grandchild Bowman; and her daughter-in-law Brenda. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and her mother.
