He was predeceased by: his parents, Olbert Turner Grice and Annie Ruth Mahaffey Grice; his siblings, Doyle Grice, Larry Grice, Louise Johnson, Ann Smith and Nancy Martin; and his son-in-law Lamar Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Ann Grice; his daughters, Terrie Waits of Statham, Melanie Hamilton of Dacula and Wendy Brown (Craig) of Afton, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Brandon Hamilton (Emily), Brittany Rich (Taylor), Taylor Waits (Francesca), Tyler Waits (Brittney), Cade, Jack and Ryan Brown; his great grandchildren, Mason, Josie, Addie and Natalie; and his sisters, Barbara Sudderth (Charles) of Sugar Hill and Rena Clark of Auburn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
