With sadness, we share the passing of William Steven Piatt of Duluth, Georgia. William, born on March 8, 1960, passed away on June 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Roger Piatt; his grandparents, Clarence and Frances Giles; and his brother David Piatt. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his mother Yvonne Cochran; his stepparents, Gary Cochran and Joyce Piatt; his sister Kathy Smith; his brother-in-law Bryan Smith; his nephews, Christopher Clymer (Abigayle) and Jonathan Clymer (Sophie); and his great-nieces, Bella and Emma Clymer.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a Cancer Support Community of Atlanta (https://www.cscatlanta.org), The Ronald McDonald House and Rock Bridge Baptist Church, honoring Steve's compassion for others.
