He is survived by : his wife Karen Holmes Converse; his daughters, Wendy Jones (late Roger) of Carrollton, GA and Jennifer Hetherington (Donnie) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Holly Sprayberry Polk (Teron) of Powder Springs, GA, Amber K. Barnes (Jason) of Carrollton, GA, John A. Campbell IV of Toledo, OH and Alexander Hetherington; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Barnes, Martin Barnes, Abbie Barnes and Willow Polk; and his brother Alan J. Converse (Melinda) of Colorado Springs, CO..
