She is survived by: her son Danny A. Carter (Tangela); her grandchildren, Dantravia Carter Jones, Danny Carter, Jr., Devin Carter and Dessie Carter; her great grandchildren, Jayla Jones, Jessika Jones and Danny Carter, III; her sister Ruby Williams (Prentis); and her sister-in-law Sallie Wells.
