Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his sister Ernestine Sanford. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dodson King; his sons, Robert Larry King, Jr. and Kerrin Brandt King; his siblings, Eugene Carlton, Sr. (LaJuan), Janet Key (Henry) and Dorothy Davis (John); and his brothers-in-law, Larry C. Dodson and Stephen Dodson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church (2340 Clifton Springs Rd, Decatur, GA 30034).
