He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Faye Baker Anders of Martin, GA and Verlon Thomas; his wife Lisa Collins Thomas of Eastanollee, GA; his daughter Misty Swafford of Franklin, NC; and his sisters, Debbie Shedd of Walhalla, SC and Rhonda Chitwood of Mt. Airy, GA. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
