We announce the death of Joyce McIntyre Finley in Eastanollee, Georgia, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 78. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd McIntyre and Ethel Simpson McIntyre; her husband Larry Finley; and her sister Gloria McIntyre Higgins. She is survived by: her stepson Gary Finley; her sisters, Carolyn Pace, Emily (Tony Banks), Dianne (Dean Dills), Vivian (Charles Jones), Delores Davis and Nellie Sheets (Mary Jo Derden); and her nephews, James Pace, Craig Patterson, Jaret Derden, Mack Sheets, Casey Sheets and Matt Dixon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-niece and nephews, great-great niece and nephew and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
